Visiting scholars The three educational institutions can welcome post-graduate scholars for research or educational activities. These post-graduates should possess a doctorate, a PhD or equivalent qualification. Every year, the European Commission will provide 3 grants of € 9000 for each accepted post-graduate, coming from any country outside the 25 European Community countries. The length of stay will be three months. The pre-registration file should be composed of the following documents translated in English and certified : - a certified copy of the doctorate or PhD diploma - a list of international publications and communications - the curriculum vitae, showing university or professional activities over the last five years - a certificate of ability in the language of the host country. TOEFL or Cambridge Certificate for English, DELF, TCF, TEF, or TFI for French, DELE for Spanish. Apllicants cannot be resident in any of the member countries of the European Community or any associated country. Moreover, applicants should not have spent more than 12 months on a professional basis or in Higher Education in any of the member countries of the European Community or any associated country, during the last five years.
